WINTER 2020 THREE JUNIOR PLAYERS REGISTRATION FORM
The purpose of this registration is for those intending to play netball for Westbourne Park Uniting Church Netball Club (WPUCNC) for the upcoming Winter 2020. As in previous years WPUCNC will cap the number of winter teams to 50.
WPUCNC is not holding trials for the winter 2020 season as it has for the last two winters. Team placements will be done by a paper trial, based on Coach’s feedback forms and player’s previous netball history. Considerations may be given to friendship grouping as requested on this form, in these cases players shall be graded on the ability of the lower division player. If your child would like to play with a friend, please mark clearly on registration and we will do our best to accommodate this.
Age groups for winter 2020 are based on the player’s year of birth as outline below:
- 8&u – 2012, 2013
- 9&u – 2011
- 11&u – 2009, 2010

Winter 2020 fees have been set at $180/junior player (8&u through to 15&u), $185/senior player (17&u and Opens).
The Winter 2020 season will commence 28th March 2020, for six team grades and 4th April 2020 for all other grades. There are 15 minor rounds and three major rounds with the Grand Final on the 22nd August 2020.
Matches are played on Saturday afternoons in three time slots 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm.
Junior (8&u thru 15&u) matches are played on a home and away basis.
17&u and Open matches are played at Association Courts in the South Parklands bounded by Goodwood Rd, Greenhill Road and Anzac Highway.
Training is compulsory for all WPUCNC players during the winter season. The majority of WPUCNC 13&u through to Open teams train on Wednesday nights at Association Courts, including some high division 11&u teams. Players in 8&u, 9&u and low division 11&u teams will train at the Goodwood Rd indoor court either on the Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday subject to the availability of their coach.
Registrations will close on the 12th of January 2020. Any registrations received after this date will be placed on a wait list and there will be no guarantee of team placement if quotas are filled.
